Invoicing for Hours and Rate

Overview

To invoice for hourly work, you may want to use an email template that shows Hours and Rate instead of Unit Price and Quantity. To do this, choose the Times and Materials Invoice Template in your Invoice Settings. 

Invoicing for Hours and Rates

  1. Select Sales > Invoices in the side menu
  2. Click the Options dropdown menu
  3. Select Configure Invoices


 
  1. Under Invoice Layout, click the Default Layout dropdown menu
  2. Select Services - Hours & Rates


 
  1. Any printed, saved or sent invoices will now display the Unit Price column as Rate and the QTY column as Hours
    • You can preview this on your invoices by selecting Print/Download in the bottom left of the Invoice
